Lawyer Emin Aslan (Aslanov) has been banned from leaving the country. The restriction was introduced after his serving of an administrative punishment in the form of 30-day arrest, as his relatives told Turan.

According to them, the day before Aslan intended to cross the border checkpoint in the Gazakh region to Georgia. However, he was not allowed to cross the border, which was motivated with the ban by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It should be recalled that Aslan was detained in Baku on June 4 a couple of days after returning from the US, where he studied at Syracuse University.

He was accused of not submitting to the police and was arrested for 30 days. Only a day later his lawyer was informed about the place of detention and the decision of the court.

In the appellate court Aslan said he was arrested on a contrived charge.

In the last 6-7 years he has cooperated with various NGOs and international organizations. Two years ago, he entered the Master course of Syracuse University.
